The landscape of Stony Run Winery possesses a rich history.
OUR REDS ARE PLANTED ON THE ESTATE'S SOUTHERN EXPOSURE, OUR WHITES NESTLED IN THE HILLS WITH COOLING NORTHERN EXPOSURE.
Stony Run Winery is in, what we like to call, "the sweet spot". To our north, the Finger Lakes produce world class whites. To the south, Virginia produces memorable reds. Due to our foothill microclimates, we have both the warmer temperatures needed to produce exceptional reds as well as the cooler climates to produce exceptional whites
